This centre has been created to undertake extensive exploratory research and documentation on the Sacred Landscapes of Kamakhya and Kamarupa based on its mythology, history, heritage, ancient documents, archaeology, iconography, religious philosophy & traditions and demography & socio-anthropology.
The centre has been established as an interdisciplinary research organization with the primary aim and objective to undertake intensive research and documentation on the Kulachara Tantra Marga of Kamakhya and bring together both scholars and practitioners of the various Schools & Sects of Tantra for a comparative exploratory, analytical, critical, constructive and in-depth research, documentation on the Tantra Tradition of India.
The centre has been conceptualized as a participatory research platform for scholars and students to conduct research and documentation on the Vedas, Upa Vedas, Brahmanas, Aranyakas, Upanishadas, Dharma Shastras, Puranas, Upa Puranas, Gitas, Bhagavata Gita.
The centre is conceptualized as a multidisciplinary research platform to undertake intensive research and documentation on Classical Indic Religions, Indic Religious Philosophy & Concepts, Comparative Religion, Indic Spirituality, Indic Cultural & Historical Heritage, Indic Religious Socio-anthropology, Mythology, Rare Documents & Books, Indic Religious Festivals & Ceremonies, Indic Spiritual Traditions and Gurukulas & Kula Paramparas.
The Kaula Nest is conceived as a global network of small, dedicated spaces for authentic, lineage-aligned Tantric practice and study. These Sādhanā Halls are designed to serve initiated practitioners and sincere aspirants of the Kulachara Tantra Marga outside India. Each Kaula Nest will operate as a formally affiliated node of the Foundation, maintaining strict adherence to the Kulachara lineage transmission standards.
The Veda Adhyayan Maṇḍala aims to uphold the traditional Gurukula model for Vedic education. It will provide instruction in Vedic scriptures, phonetics, philosophical foundations, and classical Vedic practices under the guidance of qualified Vedic teachers within the lineage tradition.
The Kaula Jńānabodha Chakra is envisioned as a traditional Gurukula for Tantric education within the Kulachara lineage. It will preserve and transmit the esoteric knowledge, discipline, and internal transformative processes of the Kulachara Tantra Marga under strict lineage supervision.
The Karmakāṇḍa–Kriyākāṇḍa Adhiṣṭhānam is dedicated to the preservation and transmission of traditional ritual sciences (Karmakanda and Kriyakanda) associated with the Kamakhya tradition. It focuses on methodological accuracy and liturgical precision in the performance of Vedic and Tantric rituals.
The Foundation has undertaken a comprehensive digitization and conservation project for its collection of 500+ ancient manuscripts, rare documents, maps, and archival materials. The project aims to ensure the long-term preservation of these invaluable texts through state-of-the-art digital archiving techniques and metadata cataloguing.
The Research, Translation & Publications Project aims to make key texts related to the Kulachara Tantra Marga, Kamakhya Temples’ Complex, and Indic heritage accessible to scholars and sincere practitioners worldwide. The project focuses on responsible academic translation, commentary, and publication of rare manuscripts and important texts.
